2023 Fall Conference
It is that time again! The Indiana Auditors’ Association Fall Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown Station, 123 W. Louisiana St., Indianapolis, IN 46225 on October 24th through October 27th, 2023.
In conjunction with our summer conference, the AIC will be hosting their Institute for Excellence Legal and Ethical on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm EST. This is a separate fee of $65.00 should you wish to attend. The remainder of the time, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday the State Board of Accounts will have a jammed packed agenda. The State Board of Accounts will be sending out a call letter soon in regards to the conference and what will be on their agenda.

Vendor Dinner Nights will be Tuesday and Wednesday and the
Association will have a Banquet on Thursday night at the hotel. Breakfast and

Indiana Council Council Conference
On Saturday, June 24, the State
Board of Accounts will be holding the County Council Annual State Board of
Accounts called meeting for County Councils. The meeting will be held at
the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel, located at 11925 N. Meridian Street,
Carmel, Indiana from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
All Auditor's have been invited by the Indiana County Council Association.

In addition to the ICCA's State Board of Accounts called meeting, on Friday afternoon from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm the Association of Indiana Counties will be hosting an AIC Institute for Excellence Class for Budget and Finance II. Representatives from the Policy Analytics Group and Baker Tilly will talk about the legislative impacts of LIT, the homestead deductions and the maximum levy calculation changes. This will be a very informative class as we prepare our county budgets. Our conference week will kick off with an AIC Institute Class on Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. The topic will be Cybersecurity. You will need to register separately with the AIC if you plan to attend this class. Some highlights of the spring conference:
- Registration check-in for auditors and vendors opened at noon, Tuesday, May 21.
- Vendor booth set-up opened at noon, May 21, with take-down on Thursday, May 23.
- Tuesday and Wednesday nights were vendor nights.
- The Thursday night entertainment was a Gatsby Dinner Event. Featured speaker wasIndiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch.
